SOMNIA: MERROW'S SIREN SONG

As a newly minted Merrow, Lortel will have access to a new ability: siren song. This can have a variety of effects, ranging from hallucinations of whatever your character most desires to overwhelmingly powerful emotions to temporarily dulled, obscured, or even lost memories. While her mastery of this ability will start out weak and be limited strictly to song, as she grows stronger, she'll develop both greater and finer control and be able to imbue the effects of her song into her speaking voice.

Note that it is not in her power set to actually compel a character to do any one thing. Her siren song will be based very much in both manipulation and suggestion, by (for example) showing characters things they want and making them feel desperately in need of grasping those things. It's still manipulation, but with extra steps.

Comment below if you'd like your character to be susceptible to this power! Let me know which aspects of the power your character(s) would be susceptible to, to what extent, and if you're comfortable with siren song being used on your character in threads! (I'll always try to give an OOC heads up when it's going to happen regardless.)

How susceptible are they?: I... I mean, wheeze this boy is very susceptible. Look how his traumatized ass fell right into Luka's spell and the motherfucker giggled about it. SMH. TOTAL CRASHOUT. This boy also hallucinated Ivan for years and years after his death so his mind is just. You know... that's his mental health.
Can Lortel use siren song on your character in threads? Yes, but maybe give me a heads up if it's something more than something silly or small. And if he found out she was willingly messing with his mind, especially on a larger issue, he'd feel betrayed since he's already had his mind messed with a bunch before.

How susceptible are they?: Warlocks are built different and Kalmiya is used to resisting all manner of illusions and weird compulsion shit. BUT I think if she already wanted to do something, it would be possible to give her the last little push to do it with the siren song. Or if Lortel just asked permission to use it for some reason (practice???) Kalmiya might allow a fuller extent of influence!
Can Lortel use siren song on your character in threads? Yes! Would definitely appreciate that heads-up, though, and Kalmiya would be pissed if she ever found out Lortel was doing it intentionally and without permission.
